Investment committee
For each fund managed by MKB Fonds, an investment committee is convened. The investment committee’s role is to advise the fund’s management on potential investment opportunities. Its primary responsibility is to assess investment proposals presented by the fund’s management
Arjen Paardekooper

Adri van Helden

Maasbert Schouten
- Member of the Investment Committee of MKB Mixfonds VI.
- Founded AFAB at a young age and expanded this company to over 1,000 employees.
- Former owner of the Dutch football club Vitesse, which he later successfully sold.
- Investor in and advisor to many private equity funds.
- Jury (chairman) of BNR Zakendoen and Best Small Cap Deal (M&A Awards).

Rogier Cazemier
- Member of the Investment Committee of MKB Mixfonds VI.
- Chairman of the Investment Committee of MKB Mixfonds VI.
- Senior lecturer at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (teaching areas: Economics and SME businesses).
- Worked in IT and logistics for 20 years, including at Compaq and HP.

Berny Plas
- Member of the Investment Committee of MKB Mixfonds VI.
- In 1997, took over the agency trade Bark Verpakkingen BV and transformed it into the largest packaging distributor for industrial products in the Benelux through a combination of seven acquisitions and organic growth.
- In 2020, sold a minority stake to private equity firm Quadrum Capital.
- In 2022, fully sold the company, along with Quadrum Capital’s stake, to Berlin Packaging, the largest packaging distributor in the world.
- Currently invests in private equity, venture capital, and real estate.

Richard Keukelaar
- Member of the Investment Committee of MKB Mixfonds VI.
- Founded the wholesale consumer goods company Remalux in 1984.
- Sold the majority of his shares to MKB Fonds in 2018.
- Co-investor in several portfolio companies of MKB Fonds.
